Shanghai has some really well-preserved ancient towns that are built around canals and waterways. One of these towns is called "Zhujiajiao Water Town" which is located in Qingpu District. It is a very famous place in China and has a history of over 1,700 years! The town is often called "Venice of the Orient" because of its canals. Zhujiajiao Water Town is like a shining pearl with beautiful lakes and mountains around it. It is also known as "Pearl Stream."

In Zhujiajiao Water Town, there are lots of canals and waterways. This is why there are many different bridges that go over them! These bridges come in different shapes and styles. Some are made of wood, some are made of stone, and some are even made of marble!
There is a very special bridge in Zhujiajiao Water Town called Fangsheng Bridge. It is the longest and tallest stone bridge in Zhujiajiao.
Fangsheng Bridge has five arches and at each end of the bridge, there are special statues of lions made out of stone. In the middle of the bridge, there is a special arch with a design of eight dragons wrapped around a pearl.
