TRB is moving forward with a new organizational structure the sun has set on ACP20 - Committee on Freeway Operations, Jun 2025 . No mid-year meeting.
The Freeway Operations and CAV Simulation Subcommittee or AHB20(2) serves as a link between freeway, corridor and urban model developers, users, and researches to focus on challenges and best practices in simulation applications. The Subcommittee covers the practice and state of the art on simulation of freeway operations, and connected and autonomous vehicles(CAV). Its purpose is to showcase and advance research and technology transfer in the area of traffic simulation of freeways and autonomous vehicles in partnership with academia, software developers, CAV researchers and transportation agencies. AHB20(2) has a roster of about 150 friends and meets regularly at TRB’s annual and less frequently at the midyear committee meetings.
