TRB is moving forward with a new organizational structure the sun has set on ACP20 - Committee on Freeway Operations, Jun 2025 . No mid-year meeting.
The TRB Joint Subcommittee on Active Traffic Management (ATM) has as its focus to bring together a diverse representation of Transportation Research Board (TRB) committees to address cross-cutting issues associated with ATM. The joint subcommittee serves as a forum for professionals involved in and interested in active traffic management operational strategies to share information, track active traffic management development in operation and development, and support standing committees in identifying and championing research and outreach efforts related to ATM. This cross-cutting subcommittee focuses on research, best practices, and multi-disciplinary collaboration on a wide range of ATM activities and issues that are related to numerous full TRB committees.
Membership on the Joint Subcommittee is open to all interested transportation professionals.

Identify priorities for research related to active traffic management and use committee contacts to advance priority projects.
Develop network to share research results.
Maintain an email list for subcommittee.
Develop website/webpage with links to active traffic management projects, initiatives, research, and TRB committee activities related to active traffic management.
Identify groups to target for outreach.
