AEP35 Special Call for Papers for TRB 2023
The AEP35 Committee on "The Effects of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) on Travel Choices" has decided to open a special call for posters for selected 2022 TRB papers to be presented at the 2023 TRB Annual Meeting to address this issue.
Please note, the call is restricted to those authors that fulfill all these conditions: they had a paper that was accepted for presentation (either in a lectern or poster session) in the TRB annual meeting in January 2022, had to cancel their participation in the 2022 TRB meeting and could not present their paper, and think their paper from last year will be still of interest to the participants of the TRB annual meeting this year.
To respond to this call, please send an email to both Ipek Sener (i-sener@tti.tamu.edu) AND myself (gcircella@ucdavis.edu) no later than Tuesday, September 6, including:
1. A PDF copy of the TRB paper that was accepted for presentation in the 2022 TRB Annual Meeting,
2. A short paragraph stating (a) why the paper could not be presented last year, and (b) how the research contained in your paper would be still of interest to the TRB audience one year later and could be a good fit for a poster session organized by the AEP35 committee.
We hope this initiative will finally bring to closure the tough time of disruption with the COVID-19 pandemic, and we look forward to seeing you at TRB in Washington DC in January 2023.
