Rotate or Interview!
Family Medicine rotations are easily set up for USUHS and HPSP students. These are typically 4-6 weeks in length and are considered either a 3rd year core clerkship in Family Medicine or a sub-internship or elective in Family Medicine for 4th year medical students.
We ask that you schedule 6-8 months in advance. You can schedule as early as October for the next summer audition rotations. We reserve rotation slots for those planning to enter Family Medicine and interview with our program from June - October (USUHS MS3 core clerkships are the only exception to this). Outside of those months, we welcome students planning to enter other specialties.
If you are HPSP but do not have any remaining ADT's available, we can schedule a civilian rotation if your school has a training affiliation with David Grant Medical Center. We can create a training agreement if your school does not already have one, but that takes approximately 6 months, so please plan accordingly.

Interviews
Interviews for rotating medical students typically occur on Wednesday mornings from late June through early October. For those not rotating, whether you are a medical student, current competing an internship, GMO, flight surgeon, or are re-training in a new specialty, please contact us to set up an interview date. We can be flexible for other days of the week, but we do prefer Wednesdays when able as more faculty are available to get to know you. We will happily accommodate phone/virtual interviews.
