Travis A. Baseler

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Rochester, an Affiliate of the Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis of Development (BREAD), and an Affiliated Professor of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL).

My primary research interests are in development and labor economics. My work focuses mainly on migration, refugees, and social networks in low-income settings.

I received my Ph.D. from Stanford University in 2019.
