Travel Wise was founded by two passionate explorers — Avirook Ray and Sudeshna Bhattacharya — whose combined travel experience of over 60 years forms the backbone of our company.
Avirook Ray spent more than 35 years travelling across India during his service life, gaining deep insights into destinations, routes, and the real challenges travellers encounter. His love for exploration is complemented by his business partner, Sudeshna Bhattacharya — an avid traveller with over 25 years of professional experience, along with travels across India and several international destinations.
The concept of Travel Wise began taking shape in 2017, inspired by their shared passion for exploring and understanding travel from a real traveller’s perspective. This idea grew stronger during the COVID period, when extensive planning and restructuring led to the formation of Travel Wise as a work-from-home travel service model, built around flexibility, accessibility, and customer convenience.
Their goal has always been clear:
to address the challenges they faced during their own journeys and provide travellers with a smoother, more comfortable, and truly hassle-free experience.
