Frequently Asked Questions
What kinds of trips do you plan?
I plan joyful, memory-making adventures for families—whether you’re dreaming of your first big getaway, a multi-generational cruise, or something a little off the beaten path (yes, I do have a list of onsen stays that welcome toddlers!). If it involves travel, fun, and family—I’m in.
What does it cost to work with you?
Great news—my planning services come at no extra cost to you. I’m paid by the travel suppliers (like cruise lines, resorts, and tour companies), which means you’ll pay the same price whether you book directly or work with me. The difference? You’ll have an experienced travel advisor in your corner—handling the details, watching for deals, and making sure everything runs smoothly—so you can focus on enjoying the experience. Curious how that works behind the scenes? I break it all down in this post: “Your Secret Weapon for Stress-Free Travel: Why Using a Travel Agent Costs You Nothing (and Saves You Everything!)”
When should we start planning?
If you're thinking about spring break, summer, or a bucket list international trip, the earlier the better—ideally 6–12 months out. But if you’re more of a “we’re spontaneous, help us now” kind of family? I’ll meet you where you are and make it work.
Do you handle everything for us?
That’s the goal! I’ll take care of the logistics—flights, hotels, activities, transfers—and create a custom itinerary that fits your family’s pace and style. You focus on the fun stuff; I’ll handle the behind-the-scenes.
How do we stay in touch?
Most of our planning happens over email, shared docs and texts, but we can hop on a call anytime we need to connect more personally. Once you’re traveling, I’m still in your corner—text me, call me, send a carrier pigeon. Whatever works.
Will this feel overwhelming?
Not with me in your corner. My job is to make things easy, clear, and joyful. You’ll never have to guess what comes next—I’ll walk you through each step with heart and a whole lot of helpful checklists.
