Wright Heerema Architects was the architect of record for the Fifth Third Bank and worked with Robert on the relocation of the bank to the retail level at the Merchandise Mart. As with any large and complex mixed-use building in operation, the time frame for design and construction of a newly leased space, coupled with the need to follow established standards and protocol, are paramount with landlord and tenant. In his landlord representative role, Robert was very good in providing the information, sharing of knowledge, and providing guidance when needed by the design team, that only a seasoned professional with a strong resume could provide. His role was critical in the successful completion of the project. We couldn't have done it without him.

I had the pleasure of working with Robert while he was the owner’s representative for a public sector client on a multi-building re-roofing project in a central business district in the northern suburbs. Mr. Trauth managed to maneuver around several challenging situations with the project while at the same time clearly communicating with the project stakeholders and team members. He seamlessly coordinated our roofing logistics plan with the City on behalf of DCG Roofing and the facility management staff to ensure the position of cranes, equipment, and staging area for our materials was approved in advance; ensuring there would be no delays with the start of the project.
