There are many books available on Trauma Informed Practice. Reading Dr Bruce Perry's The Boy who was raised as dog was a game changer in my teaching career.
Book Recommendations from Educators
Dr Bruce Perry
I recommend reading 'The boy who was raised as a dog' by Bruce Perry. After that I read 'What happened to you' by Bruce Perry and Oprah Winfrey. Reading those two in a row cemented a lot around the neuroscience which had context through the stories .

We read a chapter a week and talk about it at our Admin meeting. We talk about it together and make meaning together. We put that meaning into a Google Docs to create a staff learning journal.

Alex Shevrin Venet books are inspiring! Transformation is possible when educators work together, and teachers can do more than they realise from within their own classrooms.
