You know there's really no way of talking your friends out of it, so you go in.
You walk through the dusty house, ducking to avoid low hanging cobwebs and jumping at the sound of a squeaking mouse. You travel from room to room, being mindful of holes in the floorboards. You go up a perilous looking flight of stairs. At the top is a long hallway with open doors on your left and your right. Walking past a really gross, moldy bathroom, a library, and a girl’s room, you find a room that looks like it could have belonged to Alan. You go in ready to grab something and get out, but SLAM!! The door slams shut behind you and you hear an audible click. When you try to open the door, it’s locked.
The room suddenly gets colder. Your breath comes out in short puffs as you feel something tickle the back of your neck. When you turn to look, there’s nothing there. Suddenly, you hear a soft voice echo through the room.
"Safe and sound you will not be,
until you find the hidden key.
Solve the clues, unlock the door,
then leave this house forever more!"
The room's temperature returns back to normal, and the presence seems to be gone. You start looking for a way to get out of this room.
