This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and protect your information when you use the Translate - All Language mobile application. By using our Application, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
A. Sensitive Device Permissions & Sensor Data
To enable core translation functionalities, Translator Pro requests access to specific hardware and system capabilities:
Camera Access (android.permission.CAMERA):
Purpose: Used strictly to capture real-time camera frames or photos for Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and text extraction.
Handling: Images captured via the camera are processed for text recognition using Google ML Kit. We do not upload, store, or sell your private photos on external servers.
Microphone & Audio Access (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO, MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS, BLUETOOTH):
Purpose: Enables speech-to-text input, real-time voice conversations, and headphone/hands-free translation features.
Handling: Audio streams are processed solely to convert your spoken words into text for translation. Audio recordings are not permanently stored or recorded on external servers without your direct action.
Vibration (android.permission.VIBRATE):
Purpose: Provides haptic feedback when interacting with controls or recording triggers.
B. Data Handled On-Device (Local Storage)
Translation History: Your translation records, tool usage logs, and chat histories are stored locally on your device using an encrypted local database (Room). You can delete your translation history at any time through the app settings or by clearing the app data.
C. Automatically Collected Technical Data & Diagnostics
When using Translator Pro, third-party frameworks integrated into our application automatically collect certain diagnostic and usage details:
Device Identifiers: Device model, operating system version, app package name (com.sense.translatorpro), and system language.
Crash & Performance Data: Stack traces, crash logs, and app state at the time of a crash.
Usage Telemetry: Screen views, feature interactions, and performance metrics.
We integrate trusted third-party software development kits (SDKs) to provide core functionalities, analytics, and monetization. Each provider operates under its own privacy terms:
Google ML Kit (Text Recognition, Translation, Language Identification)
Purpose: On-device and cloud-assisted text recognition (supporting Devanagari, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Latin scripts) and automatic language detection.
Data Collected: Hardware configuration, app performance metrics, and temporary text snippets for processing.

Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config)
Purpose: Analyzing feature popularity, diagnosing stability issues, and dynamically updating configuration settings.
Data Collected: Installation IDs, crash logs, and anonymized interaction analytics.

Purpose: Allowing users to submit app feedback directly within the app interface.
We process the information collected exclusively for the following purposes:
Delivering core translation capabilities (Camera OCR, Speech Recognition, and Text-to-Text conversion).
Maintaining app stability and resolving crashes via Firebase Crashlytics.
Verifying active in-app subscriptions and premium feature access via Google Play Billing.
Improving user interface layout and feature performance through aggregate usage telemetry.
SenseApps does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data, audio recordings, or captured images to third parties or advertising networks.
We disclose data only in the following limited circumstances:
Service Providers: To third-party infrastructure providers (such as Google Firebase) solely to maintain application functionality.
Legal Compliance: If required by applicable laws, court orders, or government regulations.
Local Data: All translation logs, AI teacher chat sessions, and camera history are stored locally on your device. You can clear this data at any time via the App Info settings screen (Clear Storage) or inside the app's history controls.
Diagnostics Data: Firebase Crashlytics logs and analytics events are retained by Google according to their standard retention schedules (typically 90 days to 14 months) and are fully anonymized.
Translator Pro is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain European jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately so we can remove it.
We enforce strict data protection protocols:
Encrypted communication via HTTPS/TLS for all external network requests.
On-device sandboxing to prevent unauthorized applications from accessing local Room database records.
