六三. 單鞭
(一).由前式徐徐吸氣, 先坐左腿,身左轉扣右腳, 同時雙掌隨身轉向左[扌+履], 右掌再向南向西劃圓弧挑成鉤掌, 坐右腿提左腳,如圖192。
Posture 63. Single Whip
(1) [Continuing] from the previous movement, slowly inhale and sit on the left leg. Turn the body towards the left and turn the right foot [inward]. At the same time as the body turns, use both palms to do a left roll back [lu]. Then, circle the right palm towards the southwest to end in a hooked palm, while sitting on the right leg and lifting the left foot, as in Figure 192.

(二). 由前式身左轉面東,左腳東進一步,右腳跟外擰順直,蹬右腿成左弓步,同時右掌不動,左手向左雲向前抛按,氣沉丹田貫以注左掌,目視左掌,如圖193。
(2) [Continuing] from the previous movement, turn the body towards the left to face the east. Take one step with the left foot towards the east. Twist the right heel outward to straighten [more towards the east direction], ending in a left bow stance [gōng bù]. At the same time, the right palm is motionless, while the left hand waves towards the left front to throw [pāo] and push [àn]. Sink the Qi to the dan-tian, and then focus [the Qi] into the left palm. Look at the left palm, as in Figure 193.
