五二. 轉身右踩腳
(一). 由前式鬆腰,徐徐吸氣,身右後轉, 右腳為軸, 左腳隨身轉收落於右腳外側西方半步, 扣膝裹襠, 同時右手隨身轉向右後繞置於右耳側護面, 左掌護胸前, 面西北, 如圖142。
Posture 52. Turn the Body, Trample with Right Foot
(1) [Continuing] from the previous posture, relax the waist and slowly inhale. Turn the body back towards the right, using the right foot as an axis. As the body turns, draw in the left foot and drop it to the outside of the right foot using an half step towards the west. Buckle the knees, and wrap the inner thighs. At the same time that the body turns, coil the right hand towards the right rear to guard the face at the side of the right ear, and use the left palm to guard in front of the chest. Face the northwest, as in Figure 142.
[Note: This hand placement is the opposite of how Chen Yun Ching does it on the DVD.]

(二). 由前式左腳不動, 坐左腿, 身右轉對東北, 曲下膝蹲, 徐徐沉氣, 同時右掌隨身轉向下挿, 左掌扶於右小臂內, 隨身蹲下採, 目前視, 如圖143。
(2) [Continuing] from the previous posture, keep the left foot in place and sit on the left leg. Turn the body towards the right to face the northeast, bending the knees and squatting downward. Slowly sink the Qi. At the same time that the body turns, insert [i.e., pierce] the right palm downward and use the left palm to support at the inside of the right forearm. As the body squats, pluck downward. Look forward, as in Figure 143.

(三). 由前式鬆腰, 徐徐吸氣,身左擰起立, 左腳不動, 右腳提起, 腳尖向外, 同時兩手上掤, 然後横右腳向前下踩出, 同時右手沉肘向前平刺, 左手向左上方撐開, 面對東北, 頂頭收胯, 氣沉[丹田]以貫注四肢, 面對東北, 目視右掌, 如圖144。
(3) [Continuing] from the previous posture, relax the waist and slowly inhale. Twist the body towards the right and stand up. Keep the left foot in place and lift the right foot with the toes turned outward. At the same time, use both hands to ward off [peng] upward. After that, stomp the right foot horizontally forward and downward. At the same time, sink the right elbow and stab the right hand forward at [shoulder] level. Open the left hand towards the upper left direction and brace [with the palm]. Push through the crown of the head and withdraw the hip [kuà]. Sink the Qi [to the dan-tian], and then focus [the Qi] into the four limbs of the body. Face the northeast and look at the right palm, as in Figure 144.

(四). 由前式鬆腰, 徐徐吸氣,右腳落地坐實,身右擰, 面對東成標步, 左腳跟提起。 同時左手由下向前托平, 成陽掌; 右掌向前胸下按成陰掌, 高與眼平, 目視左掌, 面對東北, 如圖145。
(4) [Continuing] from the previous posture, relax the waist and slowly inhale. Drop the right foot to the ground and sit on it. Twist the body towards the right to face the east in a crossed leg stance [biāo bù] and lift the left heel. At the same time, move the left hand down and then up to the front to support [tuō] [as if holding something] at [shoulder] level using a Yang palm. Push the right palm down in front of the chest using a Yin palm at eye level height. Look at the left palm and face the northeast, as in Figure 145.
[Note: The directions for the right palm are contradictory. It says to press the palm down in front of the chest, while at the same time saying it ends at eye level. The book says to press down in front of the forehead, which would be more consistent with the eye level instruction. On the DVD, Chen Yun Ching keeps the right palm at shoulder level.]
