Posture 41. Turn the Body, Throwing Hit with Fist
(1) [Continuing] from the previous movement, relax the waist and slowly inhale. Sit back on the right leg and turn the left toes inward, turning the body back towards the right to face the east. At the same time, use the left palm to support inside the right wrist. Also, as the body turns, flip the right fist over and up towards the rear, change [the right forearm] to stand vertically in front of the forehead. Face the northeast, as in Figure 122.
[Note: The right hand is already in a fist, so it doesn't need to change from a palm to a fist as in the case of the posture after Fan Through Back.]
Figure 122
(2) [Continuing] from the previous movement, sit solidly on the left leg and raise the right foot. Shift [the right foot] one step towards the southeast to end in a right bow stance. At the same time, throw the right fist forward and press down [with the fist and forearm]. Move the left palm over top of the right arm and push forward, while [at the same time] withdrawing the right fist to the side of the waist as a Yang fist. Face the east and look at the left palm. Push through the crown of the head and settle down into the waist. Empty the chest and tighten the back. Sink the Qi to the dan-tian, and then focus [the Qi] into the right [should be left] palm, as in Figure 123.
[Note: The mistakes reversing left and right on the poster were corrected in the book.]
