Welcome to TranslateAI (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). TranslateAI is provided by [Developer or Company Name].
This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected or processed when you use the App, why it is used, how it is protected, and the choices available to you.
This Privacy Policy applies to the TranslateAI Android application with the package name com.translate.ai.translator.
1. Information We Process
1.1 Translation Content
When you use online text translation, conversation translation, or image translation, we may process:
- Text that you enter, paste, or submit;
- Source and target languages;
- Images that you choose or capture;
- Translation requests and translated results.
Online translation requires the relevant text or image to be transmitted securely to our translation server.
Please do not submit unnecessary sensitive information, such as passwords, payment card details, identification numbers, medical information, or other confidential data.
When you use offline translation, translation content is primarily processed on your device and is not uploaded to our translation server for translation.
1.2 Voice Data
The App requires microphone permission when you use voice input, speech recognition, or interpretation features.
Depending on your device and selected mode, voice data may be processed by:
- On-device Google ML Kit technology;
- The Android system speech recognition service; or
- A speech recognition service provided by your device manufacturer or system provider.
When a system speech recognition service is used, the relevant service provider may process voice data according to its own privacy policy.
The App accesses the microphone only when you actively use a voice-related feature.
1.3 Camera, Images, and Documents
The App requires camera permission when you use camera translation.
Photos captured through the App may be temporarily stored in the App’s cache. When you use online image translation, the selected or captured image is transmitted to our translation server for processing.
When you select an image or document from your device, the App accesses only the file you choose. In the current version, the document translation feature does not upload the selected document to our server.
