Innovating Public Transportation: An Expert Panel on Encouraging Best Practices and Adoption of Research

Research should help define ways to improve practice and encourage innovation in public transportation agencies. However it is an enormous challenge to bridge the gap between research and industry practice in ways that would encourage more innovation in practice. This session will bring together a panel of experts with great experience from various backgrounds to provide their thoughts and explore with the audience how to stimulate more interest by public transportation agencies in research, its adoption and in innovation more generally.
