TransEx Merchant  is an internal mobile application used exclusively by authorized personnel of Trans Express Services Lanka (Pvt) Ltd  to create, track, and manage delivery orders and returns. This Privacy Policy outlines what data is processed through the app, and how it is used.

1. Information We Collect

To fulfill its core delivery functions, the app processes the following information, which is entered by authorized users:

• Order ID

• Customer name

• Delivery address

• Contact number

• Item details

2. Device & Technical Data

Basic technical information such as:

• Device type

• Operating system version

• Crash logs

may be collected automatically by Google Play Services for stability and performance monitoring. This data is handled under Google’s Privacy Policy.

3. Permissions Used

📷 Camera Permission

The app may request access to your device’s camera.

• This is used only to scan QR codes to capture the waybill ID. 

• No images or video are saved, captured, or transmitted.

• Camera usage is real-time and does not involve data collection.

4. How We Use the Data

All data processed by the app is used exclusively for:

• Creating and managing delivery orders

• Tracking delivery progress and returns

• Supporting internal operations of the delivery system

We do not use analytics, serve ads, or track users for marketing purposes.

5. Data Access & Sharing

• Data is accessible only to authorized staff members.

• No data is sold or shared with advertisers, analytics providers, or other external services.

6. Children’s Privacy

The app is not designed for or directed toward children under the age of 13.
No data is knowingly collected from minors.

7. Security

We follow reasonable security practices to protect data stored on our servers. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
