CEGE faculty and students were proud to represent Michigan Technological University at the ACI Concrete Convention in Rosemont, IL (March 29–April 1, 2026).
Dr. Quang Tran and Dr. Qingli Dai attended, along with a group of CEGE PhD students, to present research, engage with industry professionals, and contribute to discussions on the future of concrete materials and infrastructure.
A special congratulations to PhD student Linh Nguyen Ngoc, who earned the prestigious ACI James Award for her research on “Non-Contact Ultrasonic Technique for Detection of Initial and Final Set Times of Low-Carbon Cementitious Materials.” Her work highlights the future of sustainable concrete technology and reflects outstanding dedication and innovation.
