About me

My name is Le Tran. I am a Ph.D. candidate in my last year at New Mexico State University. I completed my master's degree at New Mexico State University. My advisor is Professor Dr. Louiza Fouli. I am interested in Commutative Algebra and its interactions with Combinatorics. My research focuses on the study of initially regular sequences and computations of the depth of edge ideal of graphs.

I have a passion for teaching Mathematics and want to become a teacher that can invoke enthusiasm in studying Mathematics and help nurture every student's potential. I emphasize the importance of perseverance, as I firmly believe that learning Mathematics involves making mistakes and learning from them. My favorite quote is "Education is not the learning of facts but the training of the mind to think" - Albert Einstein, which inspires my goals in teaching and studying Mathematics.
