My name is Le Tran. I joined the Department of Mathematics at Texas State University as a lecturer in Fall 2024, and transitioned to the role of Assistant Professor of Instruction in Fall 2026. I completed my Ph.D. degree at New Mexico State University under the supervision of Professor Dr. Louiza Fouli. I also achieved my master's degree at New Mexico State University. I am interested in Commutative Algebra and its interactions with Combinatorics. My research focuses on the study of initially regular sequences and computations of the depth of edge ideal of graphs. I am also interested in certain graphs' invariants of binomial edge ideals.

I have a passion for teaching Mathematics and want to become a teacher that can invoke enthusiasm in studying Mathematics and help nurture every student's potential.
