EMBARKING ON A STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics)  EDUCATION

The meetup organized by Dr. Niall McCarthy of South Mountain was a resounding success. One of the interested students shared a heartwarming story about how a visit to the ASU West Valley campus as a 5-year-old ignited his desire to attend the university. "I have always wanted to go to ASU, and this program is paving the way for my dream to become a reality," he expressed.

The enthusiasm for pursuing a professional career in STEM grew even further as Dr. Sandrin and her colleagues elaborated on the various programs, benefits, and job and internship opportunities included in the TraIN program.



TRAIN PROJECT EVENT CULTIVATES A VIBRANT HUB OF STEM COLLABORATION AND INSIGHTS


The recent TraIN Project get-together for the students was a vibrant hub of collaboration, providing insights into the diverse STEM programs on offer. Graduating TraIN scholars shared their knowledge and experiences with continuing and new students in the program, fostering a cross-pollination of ideas and perspectives.
