TRAINIVA PRIVACY POLICY

Trainiva ("we," "our," or "the App") is developed by Ruben Garcia Figueroa. This Privacy Policy explains what information Trainiva accesses, how it is used, and your choices. If you have questions, contact us at rubenmerced10@gmail.com.

OUR APPROACH

Trainiva is built to work with as little data collection as possible. Core features, including AI form check, workout tracking, and recovery scoring, run using on-device processing (Apple Intelligence / Apple Vision) whenever possible. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising.

INFORMATION TRAINIVA ACCESSES

Apple Health data: with your permission, Trainiva reads sleep, resting heart rate, and heart rate variability (HRV) to calculate your recovery score, and writes back workouts and calories you log. This data is processed on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Camera: used only for the Live AI Form Check feature. Video is processed on-device using Apple Vision; no video or images are uploaded or stored by us.

Workout and nutrition data you enter: stored locally on your device (and in iCloud if you have iCloud enabled), so it stays private to you.

Exercise and recipe lookups: to show exercise animations and recipe suggestions, the App requests data from third-party exercise and nutrition databases. These requests do not include your name, email, or health data, only the search term needed to fetch the content.

Referral program: if you invite a friend, we generate an anonymous referral code so both accounts can receive the reward. No personal information is shared with the person you invite beyond what you choose to share yourself.

Diagnostic and usage data: if enabled, Trainiva may use standard analytics (such as Firebase Analytics) to understand which features are used, so we can improve the App. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

We do not collect your precise location for advertising, we do not access your contacts, and we do not share your health data with advertisers or data brokers.

YOUR CHOICES

You can disable Apple Health access, camera access, or notifications at any time in iOS Settings, under Trainiva. You can delete your locally stored data by deleting the App.

CHILDREN

Trainiva is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
