It is important to note that a six to eight weeks training is compulsory after 3rd Year B.Tech. students within the relevant technical field. The training may be in any of the companies that visit the campus for placements and are interested in recruiting interns or in any company the student so desires to work in. The goal of this training is to help provide the students with enough real-life experience that teaches them to apply their classroom knowledge to live situations so that they can adjust and easily adapt to the various rigors of the industrial work culture and hence bridge the gap between theory and application.

Besides at the PG level, six to eight week training is compulsory for MBA students post first year.
