If you want immersive sound isolation for long study sessions with deep bass, choose Traggo Airflex; if you need a foldable design with a memory card slot and ergonomic over-ear comfort, choose LICAEVEY Headphones.
The Traggo Airflex is an open-air air-conduction model, not an isolating one, while the LICAEVEY explicitly mentions noise reduction technology. Let me re-align the opening to be factually accurate to the specs before writing the full piece.
Correction: If you want ambient awareness and ultra-lightweight safety for active use, choose Traggo Airflex; if you need immersive HiFi stereo sound and noise reduction for focused studying, choose LICAEVEY Headphones.
This distinction is critical because the two headphones serve fundamentally different purposes, even though they both sit in the wireless audio category. One is built for keeping your ears open to the world, while the other is designed to seal out distractions. As someone who has spent years analyzing audio gear for students and commuters, I know how confusing these trade-offs can be when you are trying to decide which pair will fit your daily routine. You might be looking for the best over ear headphones for studying, or perhaps you are considering lightweight neckband-style options (though these are specifically over-ear designs) that won't weigh down your head during a long lecture. The decision isn't just about brand names; it comes down to whether you prioritize situational awareness or audio immersion. In this detailed breakdown, I will strip away the marketing fluff and look strictly at what the specifications tell us about real-world performance, helping you make a choice that actually fits your lifestyle rather than just buying the first thing that looks good online.
• Traggo Airflex: Its biggest strength is the open-ear air-conduction design that keeps you safe and aware of your surroundings, but the trade-off is a lack of noise isolation which makes it less ideal for loud environments. This pick is for runners, cyclists, and students who need to hear their environment while listening to music.
• LICAEVEY Headphones: Its biggest strength is the HiFi stereo sound with dedicated noise reduction technology and a foldable form factor, but the trade-off is a shorter battery life compared to the Traggo and a closed design that blocks out ambient sound. This pick is for travelers, home users, and students seeking deep focus in noisy libraries or dorms.

The Traggo Airflex is a unique device that prioritizes safety and comfort above all else. At just 12 grams, it is incredibly light, which is a massive advantage if you plan to wear headphones for extended periods without feeling any pressure on your skull. The defining feature here is the air-conduction technology. Unlike traditional headphones that sit inside your ear canal or press against it, these sit over the ear without sealing it off. This allows ambient sound to flow naturally while delivering audio through a specialized driver. This makes them perfect for outdoor activities like running or cycling where hearing traffic or pedestrians is a safety necessity. They are also excellent for workplace use where you need to take calls or chat with colleagues without removing your headphones entirely.
However, this open design means there is zero noise cancellation. If you are trying to study in a busy coffee shop or a loud dorm room, the Traggo Airflex will let all that background noise in. The battery life is impressive, offering up to 10 hours of continuous playback with a quick 2-hour charge time, which is great for long days. The build is highly flexible and durable, made from plastic and silicone materials that can withstand being dropped or stepped on, which is reassuring if you tend to toss your gear into a bag carelessly. The Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity ensures a stable connection within a 10-meter range, so you won't lose signal while moving around your house or campus.
You should buy the Traggo Airflex if you are an active person who needs to stay connected to your environment. It is also a strong contender if you suffer from ear fatigue caused by heavy, sealed headphones. However, you should skip this product if your primary goal is to block out noise to concentrate deeply on complex reading or writing tasks, as the open-ear design simply cannot provide the acoustic isolation required for that level of focus.
The LICAEVEY Headphones are built for those who crave a rich, immersive audio experience. These headphones feature HiFi stereo sound with powerful bass performance and multiple noise reduction technologies. This combination is specifically designed to create a private bubble of sound, making them ideal for studying where external distractions can break concentration. The description highlights that they offer authentic HiFi quality, which suggests they will deliver a fuller, more detailed listening experience than the open-air Traggo. The "noise reduction" mentioned in the features implies a capability to dampen outside sounds, which is a crucial factor for anyone using headphones in a library or a shared living space.
Comfort is another major selling point for this model. The ergonomic over-ear design is intended to fit snugly without causing pain during extended use, addressing a common complaint among students who wear headphones for six hours straight. The foldable design adds significant portability, allowing you to collapse them into a compact shape for travel or storage in a backpack. Connectivity is versatile, supporting Bluetooth connections up to 10 meters, but it also includes a memory card slot for direct playback from TF cards. This is a rare feature in modern Bluetooth headphones and offers a useful backup option if your phone battery dies or you don't want to carry a device. The materials used include ABS and electronic components, and the unit comes in a striking red color.
You should choose the LICAEVEY Headphones if your main priority is sound quality and isolation. They are perfect for commuting on noisy trains, working in a chaotic office, or studying in a loud environment. The 6-hour talk time and battery life are decent, though shorter than the Traggo, so you may need to charge them more frequently during very long days. However, the inclusion of a microphone and voice assistant support makes them practical for hands-free communication. You should skip this product if you need to maintain constant awareness of your physical surroundings, such as while jogging on a trail or navigating a busy city street, as the closed design will isolate you too much.

After weighing the specifications and potential use cases, my recommendation depends entirely on your primary activity. If you are a student looking for the best over ear headphones for studying, I would choose the LICAEVEY Headphones. The noise reduction and immersive HiFi sound are essential tools for blocking out dorm chatter or library noise, allowing you to focus better on your work. While the Traggo Airflex is an innovative piece of tech, its open design is simply too leaky for serious academic focus in a typical North American university setting. I would personally buy the LICAEVEY pair to keep distractions at bay during exam season.
