User Data
Location Data is accessed whenever a terminal connection is established in TrafTerm.
That data is used to build the LocationStore.html file on the device.
That location data is not transmitted off the device, and is not used or stored on the device for any other purpose.
This location store was a feedback user requested addition to the terminal program.
It's use is detailed in the User Guide and copied to the bottom of this article.
To delete this user sensitive data:
1) Clear TrafTerm's Data and Cache on your device. These options are found under Android's App Info of TrafTerm.
2) Delete the LocationStore.html file, including its further deletion from the Bin.
3) Deny the Location Permission from TrafTerm.
TrafTerm will function completely normally as a Terminal, the only functionality lost would be the Location Store.
Due to the deletion of TrafTerm's Data you will need to reinput any Preference settings such as Bluetooth Adapter settings.
Location Store
Due to traffic engineers on street misplacing Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Adapters. Often leaving them in a traffic controller, it was suggested that TrafTerm keep a log of the last street location visited.
If your device has inbuilt location providers then TrafTerm will build a LocationStore HTML file in the TrafTerm App Folder.
That file contains up to the last 5 Bluetooth and SSH connect locations and enables a hyperlink jump to GoogleMaps.
If you don’t want your location stored due to privacy issues than the Location Permission may be turned off for TrafTerm under Androids App Permissions settings.
