Needed Materials

1. Print both Traffic intersection and Dice (image below)
2. Find any mix of 12 coins to act as your cars

Game Instruction:

You are the traffic manager. You choose when to activate the green light at each side of the road. But be careful, there is a limited number of cars that can move at each point of time.

Cars will be distributed between the East and West, and at each turn, you are limited with how many cars can move from both sides combined.

For example, if your limit is 3, then you can either move 2 from West, 1 from East, or vise versa.

Now that you understand the game, this will be a two player game, where you roll a dice to determine which challenge you will take. Once you let all the cars in your turn pass, the other player rolls the dice and start over. You start with level-1, and move to level 2 only once one player figures out the magical minimum number of activating the green light needed to get all cars to pass.

Scoring:

There are two scoring criteria:

1- first score will depend on how many times you activate a green light. The smaller the better.

2- The second score depends on who is first to know the minimum number of light switch needed in each level.
