Tradie Training White Card course
Tradie Training is a registered training organisation founded in 2019. We specialise in OHS (occupational health and safety) courses.
What is a White Card?
A White Card is a license that is required to work in the construction industry in Australia. It was formerly known as the Blue Card in Queensland. It is also commonly referred to as OHS White Card or construction White Card.
In order to receive the license, you must complete the Unit of Competency CPCCWHS1001 - prepare to work safely in the construction industry with a registered training organisation. View Unit on training.gov.au
Despite being issued by the individual States, the White Card is a nationally recognised license that is valid in all States and Territories. What this means is that the Queensland White Card can be used to enter construction sites in Victoria and New South Wales for example.
With the exception for residents of Western Australia and Tasmania, the White Card course must be completed face-to-face, which is also known as classroom based training.
In Queensland, you can complete the course online if you reside 100km or more from the nearest RTO (registered training organisation) that delivers the training.
The White Card course is rated AQF level 1. According to the Australian Qualifications Framework, here is what AQF 1 means: "The purpose of the Certificate I qualification type is to qualify individuals with basic functional knowledge and skills to undertake work, further learning and community involvement."

Tradie Training operates three training centres in Queensland, one Brisbane Northside (Aspley), one Brisbane Southside (Rocklea) and one on the Gold Coast (Ashmore). Our White Card course costs $109, which is well below the national average of $134 as can be seen on myskills.gov.au.

White Card Brisbane - Rocklea
The Tradie Training Brisbane training centre is conveniently located on Marshall road in Rocklea, just minutes from the local Bunnings Warehouse (53 Marshall Road, 4106 Brisbane).
The training centre boasts plenty of free parking right in front of the entrance.
We deliver the White Card course 6 days a week. This is subject to change, please visit the booking page for certainty. The course typically takes just over 4.5 hours to complete.
The training centre is equipped to print your White Card on the day.

White Card Gold Coast
The Tradie Training Gold Coast training centre is located in Ashmore (115 Currumburra Road, 4214 Ashmore), making it easily accessible from the Gold Coast and the Helensvale/Coomera regions.
The White Card course normally takes just over 4.5 hours to complete.
The training centre is equipped to print your White Card on the day.

White Card Brisbane - Aspley
The Aspley Training Centre is perfect for anyone living Brisbane Northside, located just minutes from the Aspley Hypermarket (613a Robinson Road West, 4034 Aspley).
There is free onsite parking right in front of the building.
Training is conducted on a regular basis, and course participants leave with their White Cards in hand.
Group bookings
Are you a company that needs a group of employees to complete their White Card course? We can organise group training at our office, or we can come to your office to deliver the training if the group is large enough (8+). Get in touch by emailing admin@tt.edu.au or calling 1300 517 044.
You can either book the employees individually or we can issue an invoice and create the accounts for you. We need the following details for each participant:

Date of birth
Gender
Personal email address
Contact number
Replacement White Card
RTOs can issue replacement White Cards if you can produce a Statement of Attainment for the Unit of competency CPCCWHS1001 - prepare to work safely in the construction industry. They are not allowed to issue a replacement White Card in lieu of the older Blue Card.
Tradie Training currently only replaces Queensland White Cards. A replacement White Card costs $39 (including shipping). You can order your replacement Card online using the following form on our website: https://tt.edu.au/replacement-white-card
All we need is your personal details and delivery location if you completed your White Card training with us. If you did your training with another organisation, we will also need to see your Statement of Attainment. If you can't find your Statement of Attainment, you can get in touch with the organisation that issued it and request a copy.
We will ship your White Card on the same business day, or the following day if submitted after close of business.
