2. Data Collection and Usage
Our extension processes data locally on your device and interacts with external services only when explicitly triggered by you.
Website Content (activeTab & Scripting): When you click "Analyze," the extension extracts text from the current webpage or captures a screenshot of the visible tab. This data is ephemeral (temporary) and is used solely to generate market analysis.
API Keys (Storage): Your Google Gemini API Key and settings (e.g., Trading Persona) are stored locally in your browser's Chrome Storage (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your device except to authenticate with Google's API.
3. Third-Party Services (Google Gemini API)
To provide AI analysis, the extracted text or chart images are sent directly from your browser to Google's Gemini API.
We do not act as a middleman.
We do not retain logs of your analysis.

4. User Consent
By installing and using TradeVision AI, you consent to the processing of data as outlined in this policy. You can revoke access at any time by uninstalling the extension.
