SUNDAY, APRIL 26TH VINTAGE CAR SHOW @ RETAMA PARK!
“This work grew from relationships. Many of our vendors have been with me for years, and that loyalty is the heart of everything we do.”
— Deidre Rojas, Founder
This journey started organically and honestly, from family, community, and a deep love for bringing people together. Trader's Town Market was born February 2020 at the peak of Covid-19. I’m Deidre Rojas, and what began as an emergency outlet for my financial burden after losing my position due to the epidemic, I turned to my passions and developed ideas and tangible projects which quickly became a calling to curate, produce, and promote various successful events. I didn’t set out to build “just another market.”
I fell into this work by listening to what people needed. A place to gather. A place to be seen. A place where small businesses, families, and communities could thrive together.
Over the years, I’ve produced farmers markets, community events, health and wellness fairs, and curated pop-ups, always with a family-oriented heart. Many of the vendors you see today have been with since the beginning of times and counting. We’ve grown together. We’ve weathered seasons together. That loyalty means everything to me, and it’s the foundation of how these markets are built.
At the core, this work is about relationships. Between vendors and customers. Between professionals and communities. Between cities and the people who live there.
To create thoughtfully curated markets and events that serve as platforms for growth for entrepreneurs, for professionals, and for the communities we serve.
We believe markets can be:
• Places of learning
• Spaces for leadership
• Hubs for networking
• Engines for local economies
Our partnerships are designed to be intentional, impactful, and mutually beneficial.
