Privacy Policy for TradeLab
Last updated: 21 June 2026
TradeLab ("the app", package com.didapp.trading) is a demo and educational
trading simulator. It uses virtual money only and does not involve real
trading, real funds, or financial advice. This policy explains how the app
handles information.
1. Data stored on your device
All of your data — trades, settings, profile nickname, selected country,
optional profile picture, and journal entries — is stored locally on your
device only. We do not operate a server and we do not collect, transmit, or
have access to this data. If you create a backup, the file is saved to storage
you choose on your own device; it is not sent to us.
2. Market data
The app fetches public market prices from the Binance and Yahoo Finance public
APIs to display charts and prices. These requests do not include any personal
information about you.
3. Advertising
The app shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect and
use certain data, including your device's Advertising ID, in accordance with
Google's Privacy Policy. You can reset or limit your Advertising ID in your
device settings. See Google's Privacy & Terms (https://policies.google.com/privacy)
and How Google uses information (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).
4. Permissions
The app may request notifications (price alerts), vibration (haptic feedback),
and storage access (only when you export or import a backup). These are used
solely for those features.
5. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect
personal information from children.
6. Data sharing
Because your data stays on your device, we do not sell or share your personal
data with third parties, except for the advertising and market-data services
described above.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; changes will be posted on this
page with a new "Last updated" date.
