Past Experience in Education:
As the Director of Online Learning for the EdTechTeam, I designed On-Demand professional learning experiences for teachers around the world centered on best practices in education and educational technology. Within this role, I researched and wrote content, managed a team of content creators, and navigated partner relationships with universities and school districts. I also organized, planned and presented at EdTechTeam Summits and events around the world inspiring and empowering educators to use the best teaching practices available. Before working for the EdTechTeam, I was a Digital Learning Specialist for the Elementary Schools at Edina Public Schools in Minnesota. In this role I mentored and coached teachers to think outside of the box and provide rich and meaningful learning opportunities for their students. I have twelve years of experience teaching both fourth and sixth grade in Colorado and Minnesota respectively. I implemented my district’s first one-to-one Chromebook classroom and have always been an early adopter of technology. I am a Google Certified Innovator and Trainer and an Apple Teacher.
