TrackMate is an offline-first application. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal or financial data on external servers or cloud databases.
Financial Data: Any transaction amounts (Income/Expense), category names, or notes you enter are stored locally in an encrypted SQLite database on your device.
No Account Required: You do not need to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address to use TrackMate.
Permissions: TrackMate operates without requiring invasive permissions like location, contacts, or file access, ensuring a completely private environment.
The data you input is used solely for the internal functionality of the app:
Expense Tracking: To record and organize your daily financial transactions.
Analytics: To generate spending insights and monthly trends based on your local data.
User Preferences: To remember your "Dark Mode," Currency Symbol (PKR/INR), and Monthly Budget limits locally via SharedPreferences.
Because your data is processed locally on your device:
Full Control: You have full control over your financial records at all times.
Uninstallation: If you uninstall TrackMate, all local databases, settings, and history will be permanently deleted from your device immediately. We cannot recover this data as we do not hold copies of it.
Since we do not collect user data or connect to the internet for data processing, we do not share, sell, or disclose any personal or financial information to third parties.
TrackMate uses Google Fonts to provide a consistent and professional visual experience. No personal data is shared with Google through the use of these fonts within the application.
