Q: How does the automatic tracking work? A: InOffice uses iOS CoreLocation geofencing. When you set your workplace address, the app draws an invisible boundary (about 200 meters) around it. When your phone crosses that boundary, the app wakes up in the background and logs your "In-Office" day.
Q: Why isn't my automatic check-in working? A: For background geofencing to work reliably without the app being open, you must grant "Always" location permission.
Fix: Go to the iOS Settings app > InOffice > Location > select "Always".
Q: Will this drain my battery? A: No! We specifically utilize Apple's low-power region monitoring. It relies on cellular tower handoffs and Wi-Fi networks rather than keeping your high-accuracy GPS constantly active.
Q: Can I manually edit a day? A: Yes. Navigate to the Calendar tab, tap on any specific day, and you can manually override the status (e.g., changing it from In-Office to Remote or PTO).
Q: How do I change my office address? A: Go to the Settings tab and tap "Search for Workplace Address". You can search for standard addresses or specific building names (like university halls or corporate campuses).
