Tracker Plus Privacy Commitment
At Tracker Plus, we take your privacy and location data security seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, store, and protect your information when you use our vehicle tracking, geofencing, and fleet management platform.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: Name, Email, Phone Number, Role (Owner/Driver) and Profile Photo if you upload.
Precise & Background Location: latitude, longitude, speed, bearing, altitude when Driver taps Start Live Tracking. This continues even when app is minimized or screen is off.
Vehicle Data: Vehicle Name, Number Plate, Type and 6-character Pairing Code.
Device Info: Battery level, network status, crash logs.
2. Background Location Disclosure
Tracker Plus uses Foreground Service with persistent notification to provide fleet tracking. Location is collected continuously in background ONLY when driver is in tracking mode. If internet is lost, locations are saved in encrypted Room database and synced later.
3. How We Use Your Data
• Live Map Tracking: Displaying real-time vehicle movement and smooth map animations for vehicle owners.
• Geofence Breach Alerts: Monitoring circular boundary entry/exit events and sending immediate push notifications.
• Driving Reports and Analytics: Generating daily distance totals, peak speeds, and date-wise PDF tracking reports.
• Driver Pairing Security: Ensuring 1-to-1 pairing security between vehicle owner codes and driver devices.
4. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. Data is shared only with services required to run app:
Google Play Services - Maps & Location
Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Realtime Database, Storage, Messaging, Functions) for secure data storage
Razorpay for payments - we never store card/bank details
Location of driver is shared ONLY with the paired vehicle owner.
5. Data Security
All data is transmitted via SSL/TLS and stored on secure Firebase servers.
6. Data Retention
Location history and account data are kept while your account is active. You can delete vehicles anytime from app. If you delete your account, all data is permanently deleted from our servers within 15 days.
7. Your Rights & Data Deletion
You own your data. Deletion requests via 'Contact Us' or Play Store form are processed within 15 days.
