This privacy policy applies to the Track My Attendance app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by Devin Smith (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information. The Application collects and processes the following:
1. Account & Profile Data
Registration Details: When you create an account, we collect your email address, first name, last name, and assigned role.
Profile Photo: You may choose to upload a profile photo. These photos are stored securely to represent your identity within the Application.
2. Team & Attendance Data
Team Management: We collect data necessary to manage groups, including team names, unique join codes, and membership lists.
Attendance Tracking: The Application collects and processes attendance records as part of its core functionality.
3. Automatically Collected Information
Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address.
The pages of the Application you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages.
The operating system used on your mobile device.
Note: The Application does not gather precise real-time location information, nor does it use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data.
Cloud Storage & Processing: The Application utilizes Firebase (a Google service) for backend services, including data storage, authentication, and cloud processing.
Local Storage: The Application may store data locally on your device to ensure performance and offline accessibility. This data is synchronized with Firebase when an internet connection is available.
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application. The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
As required by law (e.g., to comply with a subpoena).
To protect the rights and safety of users or investigate fraud.
With trusted service providers (like Firebase) who work on our behalf and have agreed to adhere to these privacy rules.
We respect your right to control your data and provide simple ways to remove your information:
In-App Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated personal data directly within the Application. Navigate to the Profile Settings and select the option to Delete Account. This will permanently remove your profile information, attendance records, and uploaded photos from our active databases.
Manual Requests: If you are unable to access the Application or wish to make a specific data deletion request, please contact the Service Provider at devin719@gmail.com. We will respond and process your request within a reasonable timeframe.
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace.
The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality of your information. While we strive to protect your data, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page. Continued use of the Application is deemed approval of all changes.
