About us

          The Rainbow | Ang Bahaghari serves as the official student voice of Pili National High School, dedicated to amplifying the voices, stories, and perspectives of the Pilinean community. A team of student journalists, storytellers, artists, and creatives devoted to capturing stories that matter. More than an organization, these publications are a collective anchored together on the same colorful core: sharing the same mission of informing, entertaining, and magnifying pressing issues through responsible and meaningful journalism. Using the power of words, visuals, and digital media, the publication remains committed to ensuring that student voices are heard and represented. 

          Throughout the years, The Rainbow | Ang Bahaghari has consistently demonstrated excellence in campus journalism, earning numerous achievements in various press conferences and competitions. Naming a few, during the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) held on January 27–31, 2026, the News Section of Ang Bahaghari secured Fourth Place in the School Paper Contest, earning a qualification to the national level. Earlier, during the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) in November 2025, The Rainbow was recognized as Camarines Sur's Best School Paper, while Ang Bahaghari was awarded Second Best School Paper in the province. In addition, staff members from both publications have remained consistent achievers in individual and group competitions from the Congressional Schools Press Conference up to the regional stage. 

          Guided by laudable school administrators and advisers, The Rainbow | Ang Bahaghari continues to uphold the highest standards of campus journalism. The publication operates under the supervision of the Secondary School Principal III, Assistant School Principal, and Academic Coordinator, alongside the School Paper Advisers of both The Rainbow and Ang Bahaghari. Leading the editorial operations are the Editors-in-Chief of each publication, supported by associate editors, managing editors, section editors, and staffers who work collaboratively to fulfill the publication's mission with professionalism, accountability, and integrity.
