TPS Empire Records

Independent Record Label • Milwaukee, WI

About the Label

TPS Empire Records is an independent record label from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, founded by rapper and producer TpsEastsidewill. The label grew out of his own home studio — he started with a $50 mic and an old computer, got tired of paying $25–$50 a session, and built his own setup. That studio became a label: a home for Milwaukee talent to record, release, and grow. The label began as TPS Entertainment Records and stands today as TPS Empire Records.

The Story of TPS Empire Records

TPS Empire Records is an independent music label and entertainment company built around Milwaukee music, artist development, music production, and creating opportunities for independent artists.

Founded by TpsEastsidewill, it grew from a small independent music operation into a larger artist-driven brand focused on building a team of musicians, producers, rappers, singers, and creative talent.

When Did TPS Empire Records Start?

The label began in 2020 as TPS Entertainment Records. He wanted to create his own operation instead of depending on other companies or studios. After paying for sessions and learning recording and production, he built his own operation. In 2021 he created TPSboyz & TPSgirls, a Milwaukee artist group under the TPS name.

In 2022 he copyrighted the new name TPS Empire Records.

What Does TPS Mean?

TPS stands for 'Team Phone Slappn.' 'Empire' means building from the ground up: a team of artists and creatives rather than one individual artist — music, production, recording, videos, and collaborations under one brand.

Who Founded TPS Empire Records?

TpsEastsidewill — producer, recording artist, studio owner, songwriter, and label owner. The producer tag 'Eastsidewill exclusive' marks his productions.

The TPS Empire Artist Movement

A growing group of Milwaukee artists. TPSboyz & TPSgirls (2021) brought multiple artists together on a common platform. He emphasizes working with female Milwaukee artists, often overlooked by parts of the industry.

From a Small Setup to a Music Company

A $50 microphone and an old Windows computer that kept crashing. He paid for sessions, then invested in his own equipment and built a studio. Today: recording, mixing, mastering, production, music videos, beats, collaborations, and label projects.

TPS Empire Studio

What Is the Mission of TPS Empire Records?

Independence, collaboration, production, and artist development: artists working together, recording, making videos, and releasing projects without waiting for a major label. Milwaukee roots are core.
