TPMS ATHLETIC CORE VALUEs
TPMS Athletic Canvas Course - Participants are required to enroll in the course for open communication. Parents can view the course as an observer after the student has joined the course. Athletes and Managers are expected to be Responsible, Accountable, and Mindful.

Welcome to the TPMS Athletic Webpage. We believe in Transparency and this website was created to serve as helpful resource for our school community. You will find several communication tools that are unique to TPMS. Participants and Parents are expected to read the full website.
🐏R.A.M. Reading the website is the second step in demonstrating our TPMS Athletic Core Values.
👉Open to 7th and 8th Grade Students.
👉Practices are Tues, Wed, and Thurs from 3:10pm - 4:10pm.
👉Participants should report to the PE Locker Room by 3:05pm.
👉Games are Tues, Wed, or Thurs from 3:30pm - Late (4:30pm - 5:30pm).
👉NO PRACTICE on a Half Day or the day before a scheduled Holiday/Professional Day
👉Students will not be able to take the Activity Bus after games.
📢 WARNING - MCPS Form SR6 - Health Examination is NOT a Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation.
📢 Test your ParentVue Login Credentials before the registration opens. Contact Counseling if you have any issues with ParentVue.
Registration Dates and Deadlines
Middle School Athletics follows the same registration process that is utilized in high school. Upload all documents through ParentVue as a PDF or Image file. ParentVue will not allow you to edit or add items after you submit your registration. 📢 Do not submit the ParentVue Registration if you do not have MCPS Form SR8 - Pre-participation Physical Evaluation Form or an approved Physical Evaluation form.
📆The ParentVue registration link will not appear until the First Day of registration for that sport.

❓You are not required to use the MCPS Form SR-8. You can submit a generic Physical Evaluation form that states the student has been cleared to participate in ATHLETICS and was signed by a medical staff member.
📢 WARNING - MCPS Form SR6 - Health Examination is NOT a Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation.
The forms look very similar however, SR8 is for Athletics and SR6 is for school enrollment.

Parentvue REgistration
⬆️Submit a new ParentVue registration for each individual season during the registration period.
👍 MCPS Form SR-8 - you are not required to obtain a new Physical Evaluation for each season. The form is valid for 2 years and the date will be added to the students profile page. Parents can check the box "Physical on File" if the student was Cleared to Play another sport at TPMS.
👍 You are allowed to submit a generic medical physical evaluation form that states the participant has been cleared to participate in Athletics.
🙏 Do not submit a ParentVue registration if you do not have MCPS Form SR8 - Pre-participation Physical Evaluation Form🙏.
📢 ParentVue will not allow you to edit/add items to your registration.
⚠️MCPS Form SR-6⚠️ - is not a physical evaluation for athletics.
💁Contact Counseling Department if you need assistance with your ParentVue Account, Activation Number, PIN, etc.

📢 Warning - Test your ParentVue Account before registration window! Some account issues/questions take days to resolve. The deadline will not be extended for issues with ParentVue.
Upload Medical Form SR-8
Registration is straightforward until you have to upload the medical form as an image or PDF. Click "In Progress" and follow the steps for uploading your file.
Cleared to PLay List
⚠️Submitting a Registration doesnt mean you are Cleared to Play⚠️
Cleared to Play list is unique to TPMS. Students are added to the Cleared Section or Pending Section by the Athletic Coordinator. The list is updated daily for transparency and serves as two-way communication. Students labeled Pending submitted a ParentVue Registration but did not upload a valid or viewable MCPS Form SR8 - Pre-participation Physical Evaluation Form
📢 R.A.M - know your status CLEARED or PENDING
📢 Do not submit a Registration if you do not have a Physical.
📢ParentVue will not allow you to edit your Registration.
📢Pending - email the Physical Evaluation to Athletic Director.
Game Schedule
Home Games
⌚Start at 3:30pm for all sports.
⌚End time is between 4:00pm - 5:00pm
No Activity Bus
Away Games
🚌Students will leave school early and ride a bus.
⌚Start at 3:30pm for all sports.
⌚End time is between 4:30pm - 5:00pm
🥪Students are encouraged to bring a snack.

Pick Up
Away teams will return to TPMS between 5:00pm and 5:30pm.
Parents are allowed to attend away games and leave with their child.
Parents must verbally speak with the coach and acknowledge that their intentions.
Carpooling requires written permission prior to the game.
Players will board the bus if a parent present when the team is boarding the bus. Players are not allowed to wait for a parent if the team is loading the bus to leave.
⚠️Late Pickup⚠️
⌚ Players will be dismissed from the team if they are picked up late on two occasions. It is not recommended to wait for a player to notify a parent when the game is over.

TPMS Athletic Manager Application - NEW 2023
Student Service Learning (SSL) is a Maryland state graduation requirement. Students must earn 75 SSL hours to graduate from high school and can start earning SSL hours the summer after fifth grade. Students may continue to earn SSL hours throughout middle school and high school.
