Our Mission
The TPHS Biology Olympiad was established to serve as a place of gathering for any students who are curious about life from the perspective of science. Our club's mission is to provide an encouraging, collaborative environment where students can dive deeper into the fascination of biology and build a passion for the field of study.
We mainly aim to prepare for the annual USABO (USA Biology Olympiad) Open Exam but also serve to increase interest and love for biology in Torrey Pines High School.

The first semester of the school year is dedicated towards preparation for the USABO competition.
After the Open Exam in February, we spend the remaining semester working on a specialized project that allows students to exercise their knowledge of biology and enhance their skills as leaders, writers, collaborators, and learners.
