"Let grow up bigger and bigger across different world settings primarily based on the unlikely or less-globalized regions to enjoy the vibrant journey, and transcend to the dimensional settings that are far away from the reality!"
There is no difficulty option, but there are also Power Hats, like in the mobile version of Tasty Planet Forever.
Increased the precision of the size counter from three to four mantissa digits, added three new units of measurements: Planck lengths, light years, and universes (relative to the size of the observable universe), and renamed "kilo astronomical units" to "thousand astronomical units" for consistency. The units of measurements are:
1 Planck length ≈ 1.616255 × 10^-35 meters, so 1 quectometer (10^-30 meters) is about 61,871.42 Planck lengths ("6.187 Planck Lengths" in-game)
1 astronomical unit = 149,598,550,000 meters = 149,598,550 kilometers = 149.59855 gigameters (note that 1,000 astronomical units is displayed as "1 Thousand Astro Units" in-game, not "1 Kilo Astro Units")
1 light year = 9,460,528,405,000,000 (9.460528405 × 10^15) meters ≈ 63,239.44 astronomical units
1 parsec = 30,856,776,000,000,000 (3.0856776 × 10^16) meters ≈ 3.261633 light years ≈ 206,263.9 astronomical units
1 universe (based on the size of the observable universe) ≈ 8.8 × 10^26 meters ≈ 28.51886 gigaparsecs ≈ 93.01806 billion light years ≈ 5.882410 quadrillion astronomical units
The current size and the number of objects required to be eaten are now shown together in the size counter.
The point system is slightly revised, including:
Certain special objects score more points than anything else at the same scale even the character grow the same size.
Score penalty from the projectiles like bullets and lasers are now decreases based on your current size rather than being constant at the base value, meaning that the penalty from projectiles when the current size is larger than the entity that they are shooting decreases as soon as the penalty goes below 140 points or even down to just a single point (assuming the 200 points of base penalty), rather than being fixed at 200 points.
The modern art style based since Back For Seconds (Tasty Planet 2) returns in this game.
This game uses the business model that is mostly free, similar to Tasty Planet Forever. The only in-app purchases (specifically in the mobile version) are Tasty Planet Coins where you simply get more coins.
Tasty Planet: Extra Folks has two different thematic settings and thirteen playable characters, each with their own world and backstory. All characters except for Abyssal Chasm Shark (swimmer-type based on Tasty Blue) and Heavenly Angel, are crawler-type (using top-down view) characters. Some of the bonus levels use different characters than the rest. The size range is based on mainline levels (using four mantissa digits, with the trailing zeroes respected), which are not capitalized in the site for consistency.
