If you want compact wireless earbuds for calls, workouts, and everyday listening, choose TP Philips TAT1209WT; if you need wired USB-C headphones for kids with microphone-free classroom listening, choose XOSDA Type C Headphones. For kids with microphone, the Philips is the closer match because it supports calls, while the XOSDA explicitly has no microphone. But for a group of students using USB-C devices, XOSDA’s 50-pack and adjustable on-ear design make it the more practical classroom choice.
• TP Philips TAT1209WT: Small Bluetooth earbuds, touch controls, a pocket charging case, and up to 18 hours of playback with the case; trade-offs are that they need charging and are sold as a single set rather than a classroom pack.
• XOSDA Type C Headphones: Wired USB-C, adjustable on-ear fit, soft foam cushions, and a 50-pack; trade-offs are that the cable limits movement and there is no microphone.
• For individual listening, calls, and exercise: TP Philips TAT1209WT is the more versatile pick, with an earbud design, call-focused microphone processing, and IPX4 splash resistance.
• For classrooms and shared device programs: XOSDA Type C Headphones are tailored to bulk use, with USB-C plug-in connectivity and an adjustable headband.
• Choose Philips if portability and wireless listening matter most; choose XOSDA if you need multiple wired headsets for children or students.
The Philips TAT1209WT is the personal-listening option here. These true wireless in-ear headphones connect over Bluetooth, and the slim charging case is designed to tuck into a bag. You can use either earbud on its own while the other charges, which is a useful arrangement for staying aware of your surroundings or taking a call without wearing both.
Battery life is specified at 6 hours from a full charge, with another 12 hours available through the case. The earbuds recharge in the case within 2 hours, and a 15-minute charge provides an extra hour of playback. That makes them a sensible choice for someone who wants a compact pair to carry through the day rather than a wired headset that stays connected to one device.

For calls, the Philips has a microphone and a noise-reduction algorithm intended to reduce surrounding noise picked up around your voice. It also offers touch controls, interchangeable silicone ear tips in three sizes, dynamic bass boost, and IPX4 splash and sweat resistance. I’d consider it for an adult or older child who needs calls, commuting, or a short workout. I’d skip it if you need a wired USB-C headset, multiple units for a classroom, or a design that avoids placing earbuds in the ear canal.
The stated features do not make these sports-specific headphones, but the splash resistance and wireless design make them more suited to movement than the XOSDA wired set. If you are searching for a bluetooth headset for jogging, the Philips has the more relevant combination: no cord between the earbuds and IPX4 protection against splashes and sweat. Still, the fit is personal, and the specifications do not establish that it will stay secure during every kind of run.
The XOSDA headphones take the opposite approach: they are wired, on-ear headphones with a USB-C plug and an adjustable headband. The listing describes a 50-pack, making this a group-oriented option for classrooms, schools, and other settings where several children need headphones for compatible devices. Plug-in connectivity also means there is no headphone battery to recharge.
The soft foam ear cushions and adjustable headband are aimed at extended listening and a range of head sizes. The headband can be adjusted as a child grows, while the lightweight, swiveling design is intended to be easier to carry and store. The product information lists plastic and TPE materials, a wired connection, and no water resistance. Its most important limitation for calls is explicit: there is no microphone.
I’d choose XOSDA for listening to lessons, videos, or other classroom audio on a USB-C device when students do not need to speak through the headset. I would not choose it for calls, voice chat, or someone who wants to move freely without a cable. Although its adjustable fit may make it relevant to searches for the best usb c charging sports earbuds for big head, that phrase describes a different kind of product: these are wired on-ear headphones, not earbuds, and they do not charge over USB-C. USB-C is the audio connection.
The same distinction matters for kids headphones for nurses. XOSDA may suit a nurse who needs a wired headset for listening on a compatible USB-C device, but it has no microphone, so it is not the right choice when the job requires speaking on calls. Philips supports calls through its microphone, though its in-ear fit and wireless connection may not suit every work situation.
• Best for calls with a microphone → TP Philips TAT1209WT. It includes a microphone and call-oriented noise reduction; XOSDA has no microphone.
• Best for classroom bulk use → XOSDA Type C Headphones. The 50-pack is designed for supplying multiple students, while Philips is a single set.
• Best for wireless listening → TP Philips TAT1209WT. It connects through Bluetooth and comes with a charging case; XOSDA requires its cable to remain connected.
• Best for USB-C plug-and-play audio → XOSDA Type C Headphones. The USB-C plug connects directly to compatible devices, with no separate charging step.
• Best for sweat and light rain → TP Philips TAT1209WT. Its IPX4 rating is described as splash- and sweat-resistant; XOSDA is listed as not water-resistant.
• Best for adjustable on-ear fit → XOSDA Type C Headphones. Its headband adjusts across a range of head sizes, and the soft cushions rest on the ears.
• Best for compact storage and solo listening → TP Philips TAT1209WT. The case stores and charges the earbuds, and either earbud can be used alone.
• Best for children who only need to listen to lessons → XOSDA Type C Headphones. Its wired format and group pack make sense when speaking through the headset is unnecessary.
I would buy the TP Philips TAT1209WT for an individual who needs calls, portability, and wireless listening, especially if sweat resistance is useful. For kids with microphone, it is the more suitable of these two because it has a microphone; the XOSDA does not. I’d choose XOSDA instead when the real need is a classroom supply of wired USB-C headphones for listening-only activities. The deciding question is simple: one portable Bluetooth pair, or a pack of wired headsets for a group?
FAQ
No charging is specified. USB-C is the wired audio connection, so the headphones plug into a compatible USB-C device rather than operating as rechargeable headphones.
The Philips is the more suitable option based on the listed features: it is wireless and rated IPX4 for splash and sweat resistance. XOSDA has a cord and is listed as not water-resistant; neither product’s specifications guarantee a secure fit for every activity.
Choose XOSDA if you need a 50-pack of wired headphones for students using compatible USB-C devices and they only need to listen. Choose Philips for an individual who needs Bluetooth, calls, or a pocket charging case. For current purchasing details, check the product page.
