If you want the best noise cancelling earbuds for video calls with a secure, adjustable fit that keeps your ears open to the world, choose TOZO O2; if you need neckband headphones for video calls that offer a unique sleep-friendly design and incredible value in a two-pack bundle, choose HAOBSS 2-Pack.
• TOZO O2: Offers superior call clarity with DSP noise cancellation and a dual-axis adjustable fit for all-day comfort, but trades off total isolation from the environment due to its open-ear design.
• HAOBSS 2-Pack: Delivers exceptional battery life and a soft, washable headband design perfect for napping or lying down, though it lacks active noise cancellation and is bulkier for active movement.
• Who it's for: The TOZO O2 fits professionals who need to stay aware of their surroundings while on clear calls; the HAOBSS 2-Pack suits those who prioritize comfort during rest or long listening sessions without pressure points.
The TOZO O2 is engineered specifically for people who demand audio performance without sacrificing situational awareness. Its defining feature is the dual-axis design, which allows both horizontal and vertical adjustment. This isn't just a gimmick; it means the earbuds can adapt to 99% of ear shapes and sizes, ensuring a secure fit whether you are leaning forward in a Zoom meeting or running on a treadmill. Because they sit outside the ear canal rather than inside them, you avoid the "plugged up" feeling that causes fatigue during long video conferences. You can wear these for work, meetings, or school without that heavy, pressurized sensation, making them feel almost weightless by the end of the day.
For anyone concerned with professional communication, the DSP call noise cancellation technology is the standout capability here. It actively filters out up to 90% of background noise, capturing your voice clearly even in chaotic environments like a busy subway, a crowded office, or a noisy gym. This level of clarity is crucial when you need to be heard distinctly on a call. The device utilizes a large 14.2mm dynamic driver combined with ORIGX acoustic technology to deliver rich bass and transparent mid-to-high frequencies, compensating for the sound leakage inherent in open-back structures. If you are looking for the best ANC wireless earbuds for video calls that still let you hear traffic sirens or colleagues nearby, this is a serious contender.
Battery life is another area where the TOZO O2 shines for the mobile worker. With a total playtime of up to 42 hours including the slim charging case, you can go several days without hunting for a power outlet. The single charge lasts up to 12 hours, which covers most full workdays and commutes. The unit also supports dual connectivity, allowing you to pair with two phones simultaneously and switch seamlessly between them. This is ideal for splitting personal and work lines without constantly unpairing devices. Furthermore, the IPX6 waterproof rating ensures that sweat from an intense workout or light rain won't damage the electronics, making it a versatile tool for both the boardroom and the track.

However, there is a specific type of user who should skip this product. If you require complete silence or deep noise isolation to block out a crying baby or a construction site entirely, the open-ear design will not provide that barrier. These are not designed to seal the ear canal, so ambient sound will always pass through. Additionally, while the fit is adjustable, some users with very small or uniquely shaped ears might find the dual-axis mechanism requires significant trial and error to lock into a position that feels truly stable for high-intensity activities.
The HAOBSS 2-Pack takes a completely different approach to audio consumption, focusing on versatility and comfort through a headband form factor rather than traditional earbuds. This product is built around a durable, high-strength Velcro design that makes adjusting the fit incredibly simple. Unlike rigid plastic earbuds, this headband is crafted from lightweight, breathable, and moisture-wicking fabric that stretches to accommodate most head shapes. The speakers are ultra-thin and integrated directly into the band, eliminating the discomfort often caused by bulky earbuds digging into the ear canal. This makes it an ideal choice for anyone who suffers from ear sensitivity or needs to lie flat on their side without pressure points pressing against their ears.
One of the most compelling features for remote workers or students is the extended battery life powered by Bluetooth 5.4 technology. A quick charge of just 1.5 to 2 hours provides over 18 hours of continuous playback, and the standby time reaches an impressive 120 hours. This means you can leave the unit on your desk or in a drawer and it will still be ready when you return. The package includes two headbands—one black and one gray—offering a unique value proposition where you have a backup immediately available. Whether you are taking a nap, traveling on a plane, or working out at the gym, the soft fabric ensures you don't feel the device after a few hours of wear. The control panel features three tactile buttons and an LED indicator, allowing for easy management of music playback and calls without fumbling for a phone.
This product is particularly well-suited for users who prioritize the physical experience of wearing headphones over active noise isolation. The passive noise cancellation provided by the fabric covering the ears is sufficient for blocking out low-level hums, but the primary goal here is comfort and breathability. The high-dynamic-range amplifier and stereo speakers deliver deep, powerful bass with a sensitivity exceeding 110 dB, ensuring that even at lower volumes, the audio remains rich and immersive. The fact that the headband is machine washable (with the module removed) adds a layer of hygiene and longevity that standard earbuds simply cannot match, especially for daily use or shared household items.
Despite its strengths, there are scenarios where this product falls short. If you need to move vigorously during a workout or run outdoors, the headband may shift more than a locked-in earbud would, potentially causing distraction. The lack of active noise cancellation means loud, sudden noises will still penetrate the audio feed, so it is not suitable for trying to focus in extremely noisy environments like a factory floor or a bustling airport terminal. It is a device for relaxation, quiet work, or moderate exercise, not for high-adrenaline sports where absolute stability is required.
Before finalizing your decision, it is essential to consider how each device integrates into your specific daily routine. The TOZO O2 is fundamentally a productivity tool. Its open-ear design and DSP call noise cancellation make it the superior choice for video calls where you need to maintain eye contact with your camera while hearing your own voice and the room around you. The ability to use either earbud independently is a game-changer for multitasking; you can listen to a podcast on one side while keeping the other ear free to answer a colleague or monitor your environment. The aluminum and composite materials give it a premium feel, and the Bluetooth 5.3 connection ensures stable transmission for high-quality audio streaming. However, this comes at the cost of isolation. You are buying clarity and safety, not silence.
In contrast, the HAOBSS 2-Pack is a lifestyle accessory designed for flexibility and endurance. The fabric construction and Velcro adjustability make it the only viable option for sleeping or resting your head against a pillow while listening to audiobooks or meditation tracks. The inclusion of two units in the box is a practical solution for households where multiple family members share the device or for travelers who want a dedicated set for flights and another for home use. The 18-hour battery life is robust enough to last through multiple days of intermittent use, and the Bluetooth 5.4 chip offers excellent range and stability. While it does not have the sophisticated call filtering of the TOZO O2, the microphone integration allows for basic conversation. This product is about comfort above all else, prioritizing the feeling of the fabric against your skin over the technical precision of sound engineering.
