I see the thread has not been too active, but let me share my experience ...I agree that whatever the owners manual says, that should be followed at least.I bought brand new Corolla in 2013 and since it has been my first new car I decided to go to Toyota for oil change for the 60-70$.I went there fist time ... they overfilled the engine, so the oil level on the stick was way above the higher mark (likely half inch or so). This is against the manual.I said OK ...2nd time - same thing happened. I said OK.3rd time - I told the advisor that I want the proper level of oil. He made a note on the request form. After all the oil level was still half inch above.That was my last visit at Toyota Canada dealership. I will never go back to them, except for recalls and wired things that a handy man can't do.So, never think that they would provide service better than others. Just buy 4L of oil and a filter at Toyota for 35$ and do it yourself. Takes less time then making appointment, dropping car, waiting/coming back and dealing with the corporation.Hope this helps. 2351a5e196
