ACADEMIC RESEARCH DATABASES

We love using research databases for finding answers. A database is an information platform that we purchase for access to thousands of quality newspapers, magazines, academic journals, and encyclopedias for a streamlined experience. Databases give you pre-made citations, Google Drive integrations, and the ability to filter your search to the most niche idea.

Citing Sources

Everytime you use, quote, or save someone else's work, you must identify that this piece of information or creative work came from another place. This is called citing a source. It's ok if you don't know everything, and sometimes good projects and papers rely on the research or examples of other people. Just be sure to be truthful about using someone else's work to compliment your own.

Every academic discipline has its own rules for how to cite sources in a project, and you should ask your teacher what they prefer. If you don't know, just follow best practices from the Modern Language Association (MLA) or American Psychology Association (APA).
