The Community Healthcare Foundation recently provided funding for the Ft. Laramie Volunteer Fire Department to purchase 2 AEDs (automated external defibrillator). An AED is a medical device that analyzes the heart's rhythm and if necessary, it delivers an electrical shock which helps the heart re-establish an effective rhythm.
