Sixth Grade Music
Sixth grade music classes teach elements of music including: beginning note reading, music vocabulary, instrument families, and tempo and dynamic markings. In addition, music of the Baroque period to the Romantic period is part of music discovery in sixth grade, including the works of: Johann Sebastian Bach, George Frederick Handel, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Joseph Haydn, Ludwig van Beethoven, Franz Schubert, Frederic Chopin, and Robert Schumann.
