Lev Tovstopyat-Nelip

I am a postdoc in the mathematics department at the University of Georgia.

I completed my PhD in 2019 at Boston College, advised by John Baldwin.

My postdoc mentor at Michigan State University was Matthew Hedden.

My research resides within the realm of low-dimensional topology. Within this area, much of my work has been focused on developing connections between Heegaard Floer homology and contact topology, and applying these to prove theorems about 3- and 4-manifolds and knots and surfaces within them. See my research page or CV for more details.
