Savegre River White Water Rafting

Starting with a 4x4 ride into the tropical jungle of Costa Rica with awe-inspiring scenery of more remote areas of the Savegre. Your journey begins at Silencio, a little local village famous for their cooperative community with a long and interesting history. After a “bumpy road” journey, we will make a stop at a typical Tico restaurant, order the food you want to eat for lunch after the tour and you will get the chance to use the restrooms before the real adventure begins.

The Savegre River provides Class II, III, and IV rapids that are manageable in sturdy rafts that accommodate 2 to 6 people comfortably. Our guides know the river in and out, so they will at some points give you the chance to jump in the water if you want to and just float with the river - then you really can feel the power of the river in a safely and magically way.

Canopy Tour (Zip line & Butterfly Garden Tour)

Thrill to the sensation of being atop of the world as you traverse the highest points of the rich rainforest canopy in this galvanizing adventure tour. Suspended by heavy cables, you will also dangle from treetops in a Tarzan-like swing, rappel from aerial platforms to the ground below and gaze upon the breathtaking natural vistas in which you are enveloped.

Features 18 platforms, nine cables, two rappel lines, one aerial swing, and one suspended bridge. A scenic and informative 45-minute road trip through the primary and secondary rainforest will deposit you at the canopy site. You will also visit the on-site butterfly farm before starting off on your canopy tour.

Catamaran Sail Boat Tour (Island Adventures)

A tranquil five-hour voyage on a beautiful 85-foot catamaran sail boat through our region´s jeweled Pacific waters. Marvel at the scenic vista which showcases rainforest dramatically hugging the sea, a scattering a small uninhabited island and the ¨cityscapes¨ of Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Dolphins and whales might also be sighted in these waters at varying times throughout the year. Snorkel off the side of the boat and explore the aquatic wonders lurking beneath the sea. Fruit punch, water, and lunch (fresh fish kabobs and pasta salad) are served aboard (beer is an additional $2.00 USD).

ADR Adventure Park Tour

Designed for those who have previously experienced canopy zip-lining and are seeking a higher octane, adrenaline-pumping adventure experience. This full-day expedition to the Adventure Park in the highlands of ¨Las Parcelas de Damas¨ packs ten exhilarating activities into an eight-hour thrill ride.

You can mix and match some of them, such as a Hummer ride or ½ hour horseback trek, Tarzan swing, rappel, canopy (zip-line) cables, water-drenching zip-line through a dramatic waterfall, 7 meter free fall to water, 10 meter caving ladder, waterfall canyoning, zip-line/rappel (combined) on a 65 meter waterfall, the fastest zip-line (250 meters in 10 seconds), rappel/swing (combined). Definitely for those seeking heart-pounding fun and excitement!

ATV Tours (Waterfalls)

Experience the thrill of on and off-road adventure as you drive an ATV through remote mountains, African Palm Plantations, rural countryside and local villages with a stop for a revitalizing swim in the pools of a glorious waterfall. necessary driver's license.

About half way through your journey, leave your ATVs on the trail for a short nature hike through the primary rain forest, With a little bit of luck on our adventure tour we will see: Titi Monkeys, Toucans, Sloths, various types of tropical birds. Then reward yourself by indulging in a breathtaking wa-terfall, where you can swim in refreshing, crystalline waters

Manuel Antonio National Park Walking

Although many of the animals will be clearly visible (including titi, white face and howler monkeys, sloths, toucans and more), the guide is armed with a high-powered telescopic lens that will allow you to view resident wildlife obscured by the lush jungle.

From the Park´s entrance, you will journey on the main ¨Forrest Trail¨ for an hour to 1 ½ hours, which will lead you to the Park´s spectacular white sand beaches where you will take a short break (one hour beach stop and swim, but you will have a few minutes to take a dip if you want)

Damas Island Boat Trip

The mangrove is the only tree in the world which survives in salty water and since the eco-system in which it lives serves as a meeting point between ocean and land, experts claim mangrove regions to be amongst the most comprehensive bio-diverse environments on earth.

As such, the area is home to numerous species of wildlife, including rainbow boa, crocodiles, anteaters, opossum, water birds such as the pink spoonbill, herons, white ibis, white-headed eagle, and others.

Horseback riding (Waterfalls)

Enjoy a scenic horseback trek through the fertile hills and tranquil countryside outside Villa Nueva about 30 minutes from Parador Resort & Spa. Twisting trails and lush rainforest lead you to a river, along which you will ride for about 1 ½ hours. A quick hike will end at two spectacular waterfalls where you can swim in a calm pool beneath the natural torrent and enjoy some revitalizing snacks (juice, water, fruit, cookies). Back on the horses for another hour and then off to enjoy a traditional Costa Rican lunch. A great half-day trip for couples, groups or families.
