Florida did what they've done all tournament - figure out a way to fight back and win at the end. For neutral fans it made great theater, but it must have been agonizing for our winner Vitamin T 2. But now he can relax and bask in the glory that comes with winning our prestigious tournament. And pocketing $417 ain't too shabby. Congratulations!
Our second and third place finishers came down to the dreaded tiebreaker, and this one was as close as they come. T Dub #2 predicted a total of 136 points in the final game while wolf4 guessed 135. The final score of 65-63 means a total of 128 points were scored, resulting in wolf4 taking 2nd and T Dub #2 3rd. Slick Jackson, who spent a number of days on our leaderboard, squeaks into the 4th and final money spot. Want to see where you finished? Click here for the final standings.
In addition to his 4th place overall finish and $34.75 in winnings, Slick Jackson also walks away with the title of Top Dog (or in this case Fat Cat) for winning the Pet Bracket. Merlin, Gizmo, and Archer round out the rest of the top four. Here are the final pet standings.

Rules
SCORING:
1st round: the difference in seeds or 2 points, whichever is higher. Example: If you correctly predicted that a 15 seed would beat a 2 seed - you would receive 13 points; if you correctly picked the 2 seed to beat the 15 seed, you would receive 2 points. This scoring is only in effect for Round 2 (the old first round).
Round 3: 4 points
Sweet Sixteen: 6 points
Elite Eight: 8 points
Final Four: 10 points.
Championship Game: 12 points.
If filling out a hard copy bracket, please enter the SEED NUMBER for each winning team instead of the team name. This helps to speed up the data entry and makes our life a little easier at Tournament Central.
On your entry form, please enter the total number of points that you think will be scored by both teams in the Championship game. This will be used as the tiebreaker.
The play-in games to be held on Tuesday and Wednesday nights are not included in the scoring.
Entry fee is $5 per bracket.
The payout this year is 60% to the winner, 25% to second place, 10% to third place, and 5% to fourth place. The tiebreaker is only to determine the overall winner in case of a tie. Ties for second, third, and/or fourth place split the pot for that level.
All entries must be in by 9:00 am on Thursday.
