If you want to assist with my campaign, there are four ways you can help.
If you live in District One, please vote for me. This may seem obvious, but elections are won with votes. I need and would appreciate your vote.
Talk with your friends and neighbors in District One. Personal recommendations are very persuasive in creating popular support for a candidate. Take a few minutes to explain why you are supporting my campaign and encourage your friends and family to look over this website and learn about my position on the issues. Again, elections are won with votes. I need and appreciate every vote I receive.
Place my sign in your yard. Such signs are an effective way to enhance my name recognition. Signs also convey to your friends and neighbors your support for my candidacy. If you want a yard sign, email me at: markatoth@yahoo.com. When you email, please provide your name, phone number and address so that I can arrange to get a sign to you as quickly as possible.
Make a financial contribution to my campaign. I am running a very lean campaign. I am not using costly glossy mailers or hosting expensive fundraisers where the donors feel they are getting something for their money. I am not taking money from any special interest groups or PACS (Political Action Committees). All my contributors are Hot Springs residents. Yet, no matter how careful I am with my campaign funds, I could always use more money. Your contribution will be put to good use. To make a contribution, make your check payable to "Mark Toth for Director" and send it to:
Mark Toth for Director Campaign, P.O. Box 1661, Hot Springs, AR 71902-1661.
Note: Your contribution may entitle you to a dollar-for-dollar tax credit on your Arkansas state income return. Contributions made to selected Arkansas political campaigns may receive the tax credit, up to a maximum of $50.00 per tax year for an individual return ($100.00 for a joint return). To receive the credit, you will need to complete form AR1000TC and include it with your return. As always, your situation may be unique and you should consult with your tax preparer to determine if you qualify for the credit.
Common Sense Leadership.
